24 June 2020 - Letters To Cleo - Awake

As many of you know, I am a fan of the show "Parks and Recreation."  If I had to identify one moment in this show with which I most personally identify, it's this one:

"I love you, Kay Hanley!"

I had that shirt.


I purchased that shirt when I saw this fantastic band in live in 1995 - less than two weeks after I saw the band I featured literally yesterday - and I thought it was a great show!  This was the first single off their second album, which came out about a month before I saw them live.

While the shirt is long since lost - although the magic of the Internet will bring that back to me soon - the music still survives.



By the way, they're still together.  And they're still fantastic.
